Charlesetta Darrett Fishman
June 05, 1933 - September 30, 2010

Charlesetta Darrett Fishman was born June 5, 1933 in Houston, Texas, to Eula Mae Glenn and Samuel Thomas Darrett. In 1938 Charlesetta and her family relocated to San Francisco where she lived until her early adult life.

In June of 1950, Charlesetta graduated Notre Dame de Namur High School, with the distinction of being the first Negro female graduate. This event was so significant that it was included in the daily column of the famous Pulitzer Prize winning columnist Herb Caen.

Charlesetta became a resident of Palo Alto in 1962, after her mother Eula, a Surgical Podiatrist, relocated to attend Stanford University to matriculate as a General Electric Fellow in Education.

In her long career as an Executive Administrator and Assistant, Charlesetta considered it an honor to work for such organizations as the Stanford School of Medicine, The City of Palo Alto and former Mayor Byron Sher, Jewish Family Services, Ravenswood School District, Congregation Beth Am, and most recently after retirement, as a founding board member of the Ravenswood Family Health Center. Throughout her life, Charlesetta carried on a tradition of service and advocacy for the under represented members of the community of East Palo Alto in which she lived and worked. She, like her mother, as an African-American woman in medicine and education, broke racial and sexist barriers to achieve a better quality of life for herself and others.

Charlesetta was a charming woman, humorous, gracious and elegant. She loved to travel, and thoroughly enjoyed her life. It’s not surprising that over the past decades she cultivated an extensive network of friends and family from all walks of life, all over the world.

Charlesetta is survived by her faithful daughters Juanita Duncan-Bracy and Eve Fishman, her son-in-law James Bracy, her three amazing grandchildren – Israel, Alicia, and James, four great-grandchildren – Alex, Gabrielle, BJ & Derrick, her brother Jay Price and sister Marlowe Felender and large adopted family –Laurie, Rader, Eldon, Lee, Kate, Joe, Jake, Jeremy, Tessa, and Ernesto. She loved them all dearly. She will be missed and forever remembered.

Nanette - James!!! You are amazing! You ctruaped my daughter's spirit and her fiance's charm so brilliantly!!! I love all of them! How Samantha and Pat will ever choose one for their Save the Date I do not know. I am sure it is common for Moms to tear up as they view their child's engagement photos for the first time. I joined the club and probably set the bar for the number of times I went back to your site and cried again! To anyone reading this and wondering if James is the photographer for you the answer is YES! He was tireless, full of enthusiasm and paid attention to every detail. I litterally had to make him stop and eat a bite of a sandwich after hours of shooting. He is a crazed professional! Can't wait to see more and then THE WEDDING!Sammy's Mom (and part time styist/photo assistant ha!)

So, Aaron told me he updated his blog using his iPhone, which is relaly cool. His joke about Bikers, I'm an idiot is FRICKING AWESOME!But, finally, he started a blog, made a post, then waited a year and a half before his next (July '06 to Feb. '08). He deleted it, and then I laughed and laughed and laughed Web Link [url=Web Link] [link=Web Link]

- James, they look awesome! I have to admit, the engagement photos were certainly not something I was looking forward to, but after seeing these, I am amazed! They are awesome, and I feel like I’m staring at a magazine on my coffee table when I look at some of them. Samantha did an excellent job of choosing the right photographer, and you captured everything she was after! I couldn’t ask for anything better, and I know she can’t either! The pictures are beautiful, and you have made my fiance feel like the princess she is….which makes me the happiest guy around! Thanks for all your time, help, and effort. I am looking foward to seeing the wedding photographs (which for me is a shocker!) Web Link Web Link

Even given the update, I believe that this advice is dangerous and misses the point. When you are involved in a crash, the number one priority is to protect your head. The number two priority is to protect your limbs. Period. Considering the physics of a fall assuming you are a spherical body is irrelevant to the forces experienced in an actual crash, and any reduction in force you experience from extending your deceleration is immaterial unless you are crashing into a solid obstacle like a wall. Your body does not experience significantly more trauma in a 30ft slide versus a 35ft slide. –  Jan 25 at 0:20 Web Link

Daniel Park - James Simply amazing! We knew from the mneomt we saw your previous work that you were THE photographer we had to hire and we obviously made the right choice Amanda and I are thoroughly enjoying the sneak peak and cannot wait to see the rest of your pictures! We're so happy you shared this day with us, making us laugh, making the experience for our wedding party fun and easy, and we especially admired and appreciated how hard you worked that evening and how concerned you were about photo quality in general. To anyone seeing this post, please consider James as your photographer. He is extremely professional, honest and straightforward, works incredibly hard to get the right shot, and is just a great guy to be around. We hope to work with you again soon, James! Correct, you need a regular guitar cable to get the analog audio out of your guitar. Only the MIDI is transmitted wirelessly. I am presuming the Guitar/Mix/Synth switch works like the one on the Roland GK-3, switching the various outputs on and off. In Mix mode, both the analog and the MIDI are on. In Guitar mode, analog is on and the MIDI is off. In Synth mode, analog is off and MIDI is on. (I’m not sure how the Triple Play switches the analog off since it doesn’t appear to be connected to it, but I will ask around and see what I can find out.)Regarding the monomer, MIDI keyboards are generally referred to as controllers. I am guessing that’s why they chose the word controller rather than transmitter so as not to confuse this with a wireless audio transmitter. Web Link Web Link

So now we have a frustrated business man- one who was completely naive about foreign business- who wants to blame the entire federal governments ineffective protection of US business on one trial lawyer. China, Russia? Come on. It does not take a HAVARD MBA to understand how the steal everything. Don’t blame the trial lawyer for a federal system who does not have the balls to cut out trade with CHINA when the steal virtually everthing. Look at the new releases of music and film and you will see that they appear in CHINA before their are premiered here in the USA.Change the laws; apply death penalty trade sactions, or it will keep happening. Don’t blame Cockran for OJ’s murder escape. The Chinese have representation in the courts – presumably Ted Cruz, who is now running for office. So let’s “kill the lawyers” – the republican solution for everything that does not go their way. If we stopped borrowing money from China, they would not have the power over us that the obviously do have. Life goes on. Web Link Web Link

ProWife There is a great book on line called mjauairna is safer. The preface is a free download online and is well worth reading in itself. It is written by a retired chief of police. The crux his message is that alcohol is far more dangerous than mjauairna. Common sense tells you that if something safer was to be placed on the free market, the demand for the more dangerous would go down. If legalizing mjauairna would reduce alcohol consumption, the result would be lives saved, less domestic violence, less tax money being spent on a hypocritical war. Howdy, There's no doubt that your site could be having internet browser compatibility issues. When I take a look at your website in Safari, it looks fine however, if opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues. I merely wanted to give you a quick heads up! Besides that, great blog! UGGS On Sale Web Link

Hi there would you mind stating which blog platform you're using? I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm having a hard time making a decision between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your design and style seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something completely unique. P.S Apologies for getting off-topic but I had to ask! Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone! uggs outlet Web Link
