A nineteen-year-old man became East Palo Alto's eighth homicide victim of the year. The victim, who has been identified as Brandon Bradford, sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. He was shot about 11:52 a.m. in the 2400 block of Gonzaga Street.
The East Palo Alto Police Officers who arrived at the scene were alerted to the shooting by a shot spotter activation.
Police investigators remained at the shooting location hours after the incident looking for evidence. Thus far, the motive for the shooting is still unknown and there are no known suspects.
The police request that anyone, who might have witnessed the shooting or might have any information concerning the shooting, contact the East Palo Alto Police Department by one of the following means:
