Assemblyman Rich Gordon Responds to
the Repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell

Sacramento - In a statement today, Assemblyman Rich Gordon (Menlo Park) responds to the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

"Another historic milestone on the road to full equality for lesbian and gay Americans was reached today with the passage in the US Senate of the repeal of "Don't Ask/Don't Tell".  When this policy is brought to a full conclusion, we will have a more secure country as those who serve in our Armed Forces will be able to do so without the fear of discrimination and retaliation.  Their freedom will enhance our freedom as a nation."
