The Department is completing a “ShotSpotter” analysis report based on over a year’s worth of data. The report will identify the top locations and hot-spot areas in which gunshots are detected, as well as the most common days of the week and hours of the day. The Department will launch a special “ShotSpotter” operation to target those locations and identify and arrest those who carry and discharge firearms in our community.
