March 12, 2009 Dear Vendor: The City of East Palo Alto (EPA) is collaborating with several public sector entities, local health & fitness community-based agencies, and other EPA health initiative groups to host the second EPA Health & Safety Fair. In conjunction with American Public Health Association (APHA) 2009 campaign aimed at “Building the Foundation for a Healthy America,” the East Palo Alto Community Health Roundtable Collaborative will sponsor “Dance for Health & Safety Fair/Danza de Salud y Feria de Seguridad” on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Costaño School, 2695 Fordham Street, in East Palo Alto from 11:00am t0 2:30 pm.
The event will serve as part of our local efforts for National Public Health Week (NPHW), April 6-12, 2009, and will guide the Roundtable’s work through the week and beyond. The theme, “Building the Foundation for a Healthy America,” aims to establish the critical role public health must play as we focus our efforts on improving our nation’s health on a local level. We are looking for organizations such as yours to participant by hosting a booth and or providing demonstrations which help promote your programs here in East Palo Alto.
Please join us by taking this opportunity to celebrate/promote your programs and join the EPA Community Health Roundtable’s 2009 the “Dance for Health & Safety Fair/Danza de Salud y Feria de Seguridad” campaign bandwagon on April 4, 2009. Complete the attached form along with your booth payment to:
