YUCA HOSTS COMMUNITY ACTION MEETING

Dear Friends, Colleagues and Community Members,
Friday, August 28th, YUCA is inviting tenants and community members to come together at our Community Action Meeting and take action against Page Mill Properties.
All this month, YUCA has been revealing the truth about Page Mill Properties by placing posters around the city and outreaching to tenants. This past weekend, we noticed that all but two of our posters had been taken down. But we refuse to let Page Mill Properties stop us!
Our Community Action Meeting will provide information on the updated Rent Stabilization Ordinance, tenants rights and Page Mill Properties plans to become a gated community. YUCA members will also be available to take tenants stories and help tenants write complaint letters to Page Mill Properties, their investors and their other tenants throughout the Bay Area.
The Community Action Meeting will be held at 2415 University Avenue in City Council Chambers and will begin at 5PM. Translators will be available.
It is very important that tenants of Page Mill Properties and EPA community members be in attendance. Russell Schaadt, the Director of Portfolio Operations for Page Mill Properties, has said that he does not "take our efforts seriously because tenants never show up". LET'S PROVE HIM WRONG!! Please forward this invite on and let's take a stand together against Page Mill Properties.
Page Mill Properties also owns The Market Center and The Clift Hotel in San Francisco as well as the Park Center Plaza in San Jose.
